What is the Dawson Problem Bank?

The idea of creating a Problem Bank to provide opportunities for students to  solve authentic problems in their school and community was pioneered by the Brookwood School in Manchester, MA. At The Alexander Dawson School, we have expanded the Problem Bank idea and thus help our students become agents of positive change in their lives, schools, community, and world through practice. Members of our community submit problems or "design opportunities" and students in our "Tech for Good" class use the design process and digital fabrication to create solutions. Look through our website to see examples of student solutions to problems, examples of global "Changemaker Kids", and find out how to create your own Problem Bank.
